Subject: Notice of Tape Seal Width Change for the “KSS[ ]12SE Series”
Dear our customers and distributors,
We would like to express our sincerest appreciation for your continued support and patronage.
By the way, in line with our efforts towards SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), we will be making a change to the tape seal width for our “KSS[ ]2SE Series.” Please find the details of the change below, and we kindly request your cooperation in this matter:
1. Details of the Change
We will reduce the width of the polyimide tape seal that is currently applied for suction during mounting.
Current Product: The tape seal is applied across the entire top surface.
Modified Product: The tape seal width will be reduced and applied only to the center area.
– The visibility of the product name with the tape seal applied will be improved.
– The purpose of the tape seal is to enhance chucking during mounting, and this change will not affect the chucking performance.
– The contact structure of the KSS series uses knife-edge high pressure, which is not affected by the ingress of cleaning liquid.
2. Target Products
KSS[ ]2SE (The number of poles shall be inserted in the square bracket.)
3. Timing of Change
This change will be implemented gradually, starting with products manufactured in July 2024.
