We are pleased to announce that OTAX Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Shukei TOMITA, hereinafter referred to as “our company”) has decided to acquire the business related to terminal blocks operated by PATLITE Corporation (Headquarters: Osaka, Osaka Prefecture, President and CEO: Hirotoshi Yamada, hereinafter referred to as “PATLITE”). Today, we have concluded a business transfer agreement with PATLITE.
1. Background and Purpose of the Business Transfer
Since our founding in 1974, our company has continuously grown through the manufacture and sale of industrial switches and terminal blocks.
Furthermore, we are committed to becoming a globally recognized company capable of sustained growth over the long term, focusing on business expansion in East and Southeast Asia with a global perspective.
In this context, we see it as our mission to swiftly identify market needs, realize them, and provide our customers with “products and services required by the times” in a timely manner.
By acquiring PATLITE’s terminal block business, we believe we will be able to further expand our business foundation, strengthen our competitiveness, and contribute to customer satisfaction and social contribution.
2. Overview of the Business to Be Acquired
(1) Business related to terminal blocks and accessories for terminal blocks.
(2) Tatsuno Factory, which manufactures terminal blocks.
